I demo'd the toro stx and was disappointed. It maneurverability is amazing, but it was weak on cutting. It's in the same class as the staple Vermeer sc My is way faster on going through stumps then the Toro stx Now Vermeer makes a sc30tx, which I believe is a copy Toro's stx Has anybody Estimated Reading Time: 3 mins.
Jan 27, Its a really good grinder for smaller trees, soft wood, or rotten trees. It will grind the big stuff, but takes a bit of time. (like all day for a red oak stump) It has a small engine and it can be a lot of work on the larger stumps.
